My husband has always had to work on Mothers day so I usually take the kids out to eat or to the beach or somewhere fun depending on the weather. This year though, for the first time in a while my Mom is only one state away having moved in with my sister who lives in South Carolina. I'm hoping we can meet up for brunch or lunch or something. She moved from Sedona Arizona where she did jeep tours and is having a horrible time finding a job so I guess my wish for her would be to find a job. I don't know what to get her but I think I will check out her Amazon wish list from Christmas and see if there are any books or cd's she wants. I usually send cards out to my sisters and sister in law (who are mothers) and I'll probably send some of the kids artwork to my stepmom.
For me, I'm not expecting anything unless the kids make cards at school but it would be nice if DD and my Youngest son could go a day with out fighting or whining~~LOL.
